They are built by Yassine Malti, an independent Shopify Partner, and listed on the Shopify App Store. You install them from the App Store like any other app, and charges appear on your Shopify invoice.
Yes. Each app works on its own fields, so they do not conflict. A common setup is ALT SEO, RANKit and TAGit for on-page SEO, with REMOVEit or PROMPTit for photos. Each app has its own free plan and its own subscription.
In standard Shopify fields: image alt text, SEO titles and meta descriptions, product tags, product descriptions, product media and blog articles. You can review or edit everything in your Shopify admin.
Content that was already written to your store, such as alt text, tags or descriptions, stays in your Shopify fields. Uninstalling stops future tasks and cancels the app's subscription.
Every app site and help center is available in 12 languages, and the apps can write in the language your store uses. TAGit and Backlinker, for example, generate content in 33 languages.
