Who I am

Hi, I'm Yassine

I'm a Shopify Partner and app developer based in Ottawa, Canada. I design, build and support a suite of nine Shopify apps, each focused on one job that merchants need done well and rarely have time for: image alt text, meta tags, product tags, backlinks, product descriptions, blog posts, photo editing, background removal and product videos.

My first app, ALT SEO, launched in May 2025 and is now used by more than a thousand merchants. The same approach shaped every app that followed: start from the merchant's own product data, let them set the rules, and make bulk work safe and reviewable.

Principles

How I build apps

Six rules I keep coming back to. They are why the apps look small from the outside and why merchants trust them with their catalog.

One app, one job

A focused app is easier to understand, configure and trust. You always know which fields it changes, and you only pay for the jobs you need.

Your data, your rules

The apps write from your product photos, titles, descriptions and tags, and follow the keywords, tone and instructions you set. The goal is accurate content, not more content.

Free plan first

Every app has a free plan so you can judge the output on your own products. Paid plans share the same three tiers, and Describer is completely free.

Documentation is part of the product

Each app has its own site, help center and community in 12 languages. If a setting needs explaining, it gets an article.

Listen, then build

Feature requests and support emails come to me directly, and merchant feedback decides what gets built next.

Safe bulk work

Select the scope, preview your settings, schedule the run and check the history. Bulk tasks should never be a leap of faith.
